Brenna Bird serves as Iowa’s Attorney General. Prior to her election, she served six years as a county attorney, first in Fremont County and later in Guthrie County, and was elected President of the Iowa County Attorneys Association. She also served as legal counsel to Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, operated her own private law practice, and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa College of Law.
